KATSEYE sees explosive growth in Google search trends this year

Global girl group KATSEYE, produced through the K-pop system, is skyrocketing in popularity as they rank among Google’s top Year in Search trends.

In Google’s annual report, which highlights the biggest spikes in global search interest, KATSEYE placed No. 2 in both ‘Trending Musicians in North America’ and ‘Concert Outfits,’ an impressive feat for a group in only their second year.

They were also listed in YouTube’s ‘Trending Topics in the United States’, standing out as the only music artist named among major pop-culture sensations like K-pop Demon Hunters and La Bubu.

Industry experts credit their rapid rise to major festival appearances and a North American tour, which boosted their visibility through powerful live stages and algorithm-friendly performance clips. The global spread of K-pop’s fancam culture further amplified their reach.

KATSEYE’s momentum also reinforces K-pop’s identity as a performance-driven genre. In K-pop, the stage more than the song—defines the brand, supported by intensive trainee systems and world tours that build global fandom.

As one insider summarized: “K-pop is live-performance IP. KATSEYE proved it once again.”
