Is there anything UEE can’t do? The singer-turned-actress has once again proven her resilience and athletic prowess, officially completing her first-ever half marathon!
On March 2, despite gloomy weather and pouring rain, UEE participated in the 2026 New Balance Half Race Seoul. Not only did she finish, but she also clocked an impressive official record of 2 hours, 9 minutes, and 28 seconds.

UEE took to social media to celebrate the milestone, posting photos where she is beaming with pride—finisher’s medal in hand—completely unbothered by the soaked conditions. However, the journey to the finish line wasn’t without its hurdles. The star candidly revealed that she had been battling anxiety leading up to the race due to lingering physical setbacks.

“After my hip and knee injuries, running became difficult,” she confessed to fans. “When I ran 22 kilometers in three hours during practice, I was really worried and scared about whether I could make it within the cutoff time of 2 hours and 30 minutes.”

The race route, stretching from Gwanghwamun Square to Jamsil Sports Complex, tested her limits. UEE admitted that with just 2 kilometers remaining, her pace dropped significantly to seven minutes per kilometer. Yet, true to her ‘energizer’ reputation, she drew strength from the cheering crowd to power through the final stretch.
Reflecting on the achievement, UEE wrote an inspiring message: “Today, I went beyond my limits. I found another reason to keep living diligently.”
This feat follows her consistent track record of athleticism this year; she kicked off 2026 with a 10km run on New Year’s Day and previously stunned viewers with her grit on the tvN variety show Iron Girls, where she tackled triathlons and boxing. Congratulations to UEE on another amazing achievement!
