T1 secures a spot in the 2025 League of Legends Worlds Final

T1 has punched their ticket to the 2025 League of Legends World Championship final after sweeping TES.

On November 2 at Shanghai’s Mercedes-Benz Arena, T1 dominated the semifinal series 3-0. Despite TES putting up strong resistance, T1’s precise teamwork and control over key objectives sealed the victory.

After the match, legendary mid-laner Faker remained modest: “My personal condition wasn’t the best, so I’m not fully satisfied with my performance. But we won because the team adapted well to TES’s strategies.”

The win extends T1’s historic dominance, keeping them undefeated in best-of-five series against LPL (China) teams at Worlds. Asked about their 13-0 record, Faker shrugged off the milestone: “It’s an amazing record, but I’ve always focused on winning. Building up victories naturally led to something like this.”

T1 will now face fellow Korean team KT Rolster in the grand final on November 9 in Chengdu, China.
