Girls’ Generation member and actress Sooyoung has publicly congratulated her bandmate Tiffany Young on her engagement to actor Byun Yo Han.

Speaking at the press conference for her new drama I Dol I on December 16, Sooyoung expressed her joy, stating, “The closest friends in my life are the members. No matter what choice they make, it’s something to celebrate.”

Tiffany recently confirmed she is in a serious relationship with Byun Yo Han with marriage in mind, making her the first Girls’ Generation member set to tie the knot. Meanwhile, Sooyoung is gearing up for the release of I Dol I, a mystery courtroom romance premiering on December 22, where she stars alongside Kim Jae Young.
