Former SF9 member Rowoon is officially set to begin his mandatory military service in the Republic of Korea Army on October 27, 2025 KST, following a reexamination that confirmed his eligibility for active duty.
On October 25, Rowoon shared a short message “I feel refreshed. I’ll be back.” along with a photo of his new buzz cut, impressing fans with his sharp visuals even with the military haircut.
Originally scheduled to enlist in July 2025, his service was delayed due to updated medical recheck procedures. After filing an appeal and undergoing review, Rowoon received final clearance for active-duty service.
Most recently, Rowoon starred in the Disney+ historical drama “The Murky Stream” and will appear in the upcoming Japanese film “Last Man — First Love”, premiering December 24, 2025 JST.
