RM opened up about his feelings ahead of BTS’s full-group reunion next year during a Weverse Live on December 6. He addressed questions about why he was inactive in the second half of 2025, saying there were circumstances he “can’t talk about” and doesn’t have “the right to explain.”

He reflected on the long gap since BTS’s last concert in 2022, admitting the pressure of preparing for their return has been so intense he has struggled to sleep. RM apologized for the long wait, explaining the group cannot come back until they can deliver something fans will be proud of.

He also shared that thoughts of disbandment crossed his mind many times, but the members’ love for each other and their fans kept them going. RM ended by telling ARMY, “I love you. Even if that love doesn’t return in the same way, I’ll keep loving you in my own way.”
