After School’s Nana Refuses to Face Intruder in Court

Former After School member Nana and her mother have taken a firm stand in the ongoing legal battle regarding a terrifying home invasion. To protect their mental well-being, the two victims submitted a second formal notice refusing to testify in court. This understandable decision ensures they will not have to come face-to-face with the man who violently attacked them.

A Night of Terror and Bravery

On November 15, a suspect identified only as ‘Mr. A’ used a ladder to break into Nana’s home in Guri. He reportedly threatened the star and her mother with a deadly weapon during the shocking ordeal. Showing incredible bravery, Nana and her mother physically subdued the suspect until the police arrived, though both women sustained serious injuries in the struggle.

Outrageous Countersuit Dismissed

In a bizarre twist following the incident, the suspect actually attempted to file a countersuit against Nana for attempted murder. Fortunately, the police swiftly dismissed the absurd claim, officially ruling Nana’s brave actions as justifiable self-defense. With the victims rightfully refusing to attend the hearings and face their attacker, the next trial date has now been pushed back to March 24.

The Suspect’s Defense Rebuked

During the first trial held on January 20, Mr. A’s defense strategy sparked widespread outrage in the courtroom. According to court reports, the suspect made several baffling claims:

  • He completely denied having any intent to rob the home.
  • He claimed he did not use a deadly weapon during the break-in.
  • He audaciously argued that Nana and her mother attacked him first.

Unsurprisingly, the presiding judge heavily criticized this outrageous defense strategy during the hearing. The court’s stern rebuke brings a glimmer of hope that true justice will be served without further traumatizing the victims.
