Lee Na Young Ends 3-Year Hiatus to Lead Powerhouse Female Trio in New Mystery Legal Drama ‘Honor’

The wait is finally over for fans of Lee Na Young!

After a three-year hiatus following her role in One Day Off (2023), the acclaimed actress is making her highly anticipated return to the small screen in the upcoming mystery legal drama “Honor.”

On January 26, the cast and crew gathered for a press conference at The Saint Grand Ballroom in Seoul to introduce the series. Honor promises to be a gripping female-led thriller, centering on three lawyers at the specialized firm “L&J” (Listen & Join). The firm is dedicated to representing victims of sexual crimes, but the protagonists find themselves confronting a haunting past that resurfaces as a massive scandal.

Lee Na Young takes on the role of Yoon Ra Young, the firm’s public face. While Yoon appears to be a glamorous celebrity lawyer on the outside, she hides deep emotional wounds beneath the surface. Lee described her character’s resilience, stating, “She confronts those scars and endures them while boldly throwing herself into the work she believes she must do.”

When asked why she chose this specific project for her comeback, Lee compared the script to a page-turner. “It read like a mystery novel that I couldn’t put down,” she revealed, praising the raw and layered dialogue that immediately pulled her in.

The drama also features a powerhouse lineup including Jung Eun Chae and Lee Chung Ah. Lee Na Young expressed confidence in director Park Gun Ho and shared her excitement about the chemistry with her co-stars. “At first, our pairing might seem unexpected, but that sense of contrast felt fresh and intriguing,” she noted. “Even I was curious to see how it would look on screen.”

Mark your calendars! “Honor” is set to premiere on February 2.
