Super rookies KickFlip are officially making their first comeback of the year! The acclaimed boy group is set to release their fourth mini-album, ‘My First Kick’, on April 6 at 6 PM KST.
This highly anticipated release features a fresh concept centered around stepping into the adult world. Fans can look forward to themes exploring major coming-of-age milestones, such as experiencing driving and voting for the very first time.
A Fun and Bold Title Track
The new album promises a high-energy dance title track that perfectly captures the group’s signature charm. Group leader Kyehoon, famously known among fans as a playful ‘flirting master’, actively co-wrote the lead single.
A Personal Touch: Members as Songwriters
KickFlip is proving their artistic growth by heavily participating in the album’s production. Younger members Donghyun, Donghwa, and Minjae have all stepped up to contribute musically to the project.
The talented trio co-wrote several captivating B-side tracks for the mini-album. Listeners can look forward to hearing their creative touch on songs like ‘Twenty’, ‘Stup!d’, and ‘Scroll’.
Growing as Super Rookies
Since debuting on January 20, 2025, with ‘Flip it, Kick it!’, KickFlip has experienced rapid success in the K-pop industry. The group’s immense talent has already earned them multiple Rookie of the Year awards.
To celebrate their incredible journey, the group recently completed a highly successful domestic fan concert tour. Titled ‘From KickFlip, To WeFlip’, the tour spanned 12 spectacular shows across five South Korean cities to connect with their dedicated fandom, WeFlip.
