SBS Confirms ‘Good Partner 2’: Jang Na Ra Returns with Kim Hye Yoon as New Co-Star
SBS’s blockbuster legal drama Good Partner is officially coming back for a second season. On January 1, the production team released the first teaser video, confirming the return of Jang Na Ra as the veteran divorce lawyer and announcing the addition of Kim Hye Yoon as a spirited new rookie attorney.
The teaser highlights a fresh dynamic between the two leads. When Jang Na Ra’s character asserts, “Just trust me,” Kim Hye Yoon’s character boldly counters, “No, trust me!”—signaling a confident and ambitious partnership for the upcoming season.
Season 1, which concluded in September 2024, was a massive success. Written by an actual divorce lawyer, it achieved a peak viewership rating of 18.7% (Nielsen Korea). The first season was praised for the “womanance” chemistry between Jang Na Ra and Nam Ji Hyun; Season 2 aims to continue this legacy with Kim Hye Yoon stepping into the rookie role.
Good Partner 2 is scheduled to air later this year.
