BTS’s Jin donated 100 million KRW (approx. $68,000 USD) to the Namgwang Social Welfare Center in Busan on December 1, ahead of his birthday on December 4. His contribution will support vulnerable children, teens, and local neighbors in need.
The center shared that Jin’s gift will help fund scholarships, talent-development programs, and support for young people leaving care facilities aligning with both Jin’s longtime interest in youth welfare and the organization’s 80-year legacy.
Namgwang Social Welfare Center expressed deep gratitude, calling the donation “a gift that brings dreams and hope” to the community.
