“Global Hitmaker of the Year”

Rosé has been named one of this year’s Global Hitmakers by Variety, the leading U.S. entertainment magazine.

According to The Black Label, Rosé received the honor at the 2025 Hitmakers ceremony in Los Angeles on December 6. The award recognizes artists behind the year’s most popular and influential songs.

Rosé won Global Hitmaker of the Year, a rare milestone for a female K-pop soloist in major U.S. media. The recognition highlights the worldwide success of her mega-hit single “APT.” and her first full album “rosie.”

On stage, Rosé thanked fans and her team, saying the past year brought moments she “never imagined,” and that seeing “APT.” grow globally was “truly exciting.” She also expressed gratitude to The Black Label and producer Teddy for their support during an exceptionally busy year.

“APT.” became a global phenomenon, breaking charts worldwide. She also made history at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards as the first K-pop artist to win Song of the Year, one of the top U.S. music honors.

Rosé earned further recognition with Grammy nominations for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, becoming the first K-pop act to be nominated in two major Grammy categories.

She is currently continuing her world tour ‘DEADLINE’ as her global influence continues to grow.
