The NBA and CORTIS are joining forces. On January 18, the National Basketball Association announced that the K-pop group has been appointed as ‘Friends of the NBA’, a celebrity collaboration program in the Asia-Pacific region.
What to Expect: The partnership will see the five members engaging in creative projects, including co-developing branded merchandise, creating exclusive content, and attending major league events. CORTIS noted that their group philosophy, ‘Color Outside the Lines’, resonates deeply with the NBA’s spirit of creativity.

A Historic Performance: Kicking off this partnership, CORTIS has been confirmed as the headliner for the ‘NBA Crossover concert series’ at the LA Convention Center on February 12, 2026. This makes them the first K-pop artists to headline an event during NBA All-Star week. Wayne Chang, NBA Asia Managing Director, praised the collaboration as a powerful synergy between the passion of sports and the artistry of K-pop.
