XG’s Cocona has shared a deeply personal announcement about their gender identity.

On December 6, Cocona publicly came out as AFAB Transmasculine Non-Binary through XG’s official social media. They explained that turning 20 felt like the right moment to reveal feelings they had carried for years. Cocona also shared that they underwent top surgery earlier this year.

They wrote that the hardest part of their journey was accepting themselves, but taking even “0.1 steps forward” allowed them to open a new door. Cocona included a powerful photo showing their top surgery scars, symbolizing pride and self-acceptance.

They ended the message with gratitude and hope, saying they wished their story could be “a small light” for others, while thanking their members, family, and producer Jakops for their support throughout this journey.
