BTS’s Jimin and actress Song Da Eun are no longer together, despite renewed rumors sparked by resurfaced clips online.

According to media reports on August 31 KST, the two were briefly linked around the time of Jimin’s military enlistment but have long since ended contact. Sources clarified that the videos recently uploaded by Song were recorded during that past period.

An insider noted, “They were involved for a short time, but the footage Song Da Eun shared is from back then.” Another source added, “The exact timeline is unclear, but what’s certain is that they are no longer dating. Jimin has been serving in the military since 2023.”

Rumors of their relationship first surfaced in 2022, when Song posted BTS merchandise and an earphone case tied to Jimin. Although she denied having a boyfriend at the time, she later addressed the issue more directly in June 2024, saying:

“Just because the idol you like loved me doesn’t mean I deserve hate.”
Most recently, a video allegedly showing Jimin’s home spread online, but it has since been confirmed as old footage. Legal experts warn that if the clip was shared without consent, it could be considered a privacy violation under South Korea’s Information and Communications Network Act, carrying penalties of up to seven years in prison.
