BLACKPINK’s Rosé is making headlines again, but this time it isn’t just for her music or her signature visuals—it’s for her heart of gold.
We all know Rosé’s iconic blonde hair is practically a member of BLACKPINK at this point. For seven years, she has maintained that perfect platinum shade, a commitment that requires root touch-ups every two weeks. But behind that flawless look is a grueling schedule, not just for the idol, but for her glam team as well.

On a recent episode of the YouTube channel Workers High, celebrity hairstylist Cha Cha (Cha Jong Hyun)—who also works with stars like Sunmi and (G)I-DLE—spilled the tea on what it really takes to keep Rosé looking runway-ready.

The Cost of Perfection
Cha Cha revealed the intensity of their schedule. When Rosé is overseas in cities like Los Angeles or Paris, the stylist often flies out for same-day appointments. Imagine flying 12 hours, spending four hours bleaching and coloring, and then hopping right back on a plane to Korea that same evening. The physical toll was massive, with Cha Cha admitting he suffered from hip and tailbone issues due to the constant long-haul travel.

A “Chaebol-Level” Gesture
Noticing her stylist’s physical struggle, Rosé made a move that left fans swooning. She personally arranged and gifted him a business class seat to alleviate his pain during one of these exhausting trips.

Cha Cha was floored by the gesture, stating, “Even chaebols (conglomerates) don’t do this.” He expressed how this level of consideration is rare in the industry and shared that her thoughtfulness motivated him to work even harder for her.
Breaking Records and Hearts
In other news, Rosé continues to dominate the global stage. BLACKPINK recently dropped their third mini-album, DEADLINE, and Rosé just made history by winning “International Song of the Year” at the 46th BRIT Awards for her smash hit “APT.” It seems she is winning big in both her career and her kindness!
