The wait is finally over, and the Queens of K-Pop have returned to reclaim their throne in spectacular fashion!
BLACKPINK has officially released their highly anticipated third mini-album, ‘DEADLINE’, and the numbers are nothing short of historic. According to Hanteo Chart data released by YG Entertainment, the album sold a staggering 1,461,785 copies on its first day alone (February 27). This achievement sets a new all-time benchmark for the highest first-day sales ever achieved by a K-pop girl group.

The group’s first album in three years and five months—following 2022’s Born Pink—is already dominating global charts. Upon release, ‘DEADLINE’ shot to No. 1 on iTunes Album Charts in 32 regions and claimed the top spot on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart.

The title track, “GO,” is an anthem of confidence featuring a powerful bassline and the addictive hook, “Blackpink’ll make ya GO.” The music video wasted no time racking up views, surpassing 27.65 million views on its first day and securing No. 1 on YouTube’s Worldwide Trending chart. Billboard praised the track for its explosive energy, noting how it bursts into a pulsating beat in under a minute.

In a massive treat for BLINKs, the group released official videos for all five tracks on the album. The diverse tracklist includes the hardstyle EDM banger “JUMP,” the retro hip-hop track “Me and My,” the inspiring anthem “Champion,” and the emotionally charged “Fxxxboy.”

With Forbes highlighting their record-breaking sales and unmatched global influence, BLACKPINK has proven once again why they remain at the pinnacle of the music industry. Check out the music videos for the new tracks below!
