On March 5, his agency confirmed the exciting development, announcing, “Hyeongjun will appear in the drama ‘Kill the Romeo.’ Please look forward to and support the new side he will show through the character Hyeongjun.”
The project stands out for its unique format. ‘Kill the Romeo’ is a KITS interactive short-form drama that features multiple endings, allowing for a dynamic viewing experience. The storyline is a genre-bending romantic comedy that begins with a startling premise: a killer, whose true identity is a devoted fan, decides to target their favorite idol.
In a fascinating meta-twist, Hyeongjun will portray a character who shares his real name. In the drama, ‘Hyeongjun’ is the center of a popular idol group who becomes the target of the protagonist. Despite the dangerous and unpredictable circumstances of the plot, the character is set to captivate audiences with a charm that balances tension and romance, likely awakening the protective instincts of fans.
