When Music Became Space, And Space Became A Statement
In a stunning convergence of modern pop culture and national heritage, BLACKPINK has partnered with the National Museum of Korea and Spotify to launch their highly anticipated 3rd mini-album, ‘Deadline‘.
From February 26 to March 8, a special event will transform the historic venue. For the duration of the launch, the exterior of the National Museum of Korea will be illuminated in the group’s signature pink. Inside, the cultural landmark bridges the gap between the past and the future by hosting an exclusive album listening session open to Spotify Premium users.

Reporter Cue Choi attended the exclusive listening session at the museum. Below is a first-listen review of the five tracks that make up ‘Deadline’.
01. JUMP
A bold departure from their standard formula, ‘JUMP’ sees BLACKPINK exploring the hardstyle genre. The track opens with a striking guitar riff reminiscent of a classic Western film before accelerating into an intense, high-impact drop. The unpredictable structure builds a palpable tension, creating an adrenaline rush that feels specifically engineered for massive live stages.

02. GO (Title Track)
Anchored by the declarative hook “BLACKPINK’ll make ya,” the title track is a command for attention. Featuring explosive production and tight rhythmic structures, ‘GO’ delivers a message of courage and unity with absolute conviction. The melody is persistent, and the confident vocal delivery reinforces the group’s unrivaled presence in the global pop scene.
03. Me and my

Switching gears, ‘Me and my’ offers a retro hip-hop beat layered with polished brass elements. This track captures the listener with an addictive melody and a relaxed groove that naturally induces movement. It encapsulates BLACKPINK’s signature ‘cool’ aura, but softened with a refined, effortless flow that stood out during the listening session.
04. Champion
A fast-paced pop anthem, ‘Champion’ utilizes a dynamic hook structure to build emotional momentum. The song unfolds into a powerful group refrain, delivering an optimistic message of perseverance and forward motion. The choral moments resonate deeply, suggesting this track will find its true home in stadium settings where fans can sing along.

05. Fxxxboy
The album concludes with perhaps its most minimal track. ‘Fxxxboy’ relies on a gentle guitar line and restrained production to let the members’ vocal textures take center stage. Devoid of excess, the song unfolds with a quiet intensity that balances the heavier energy of the earlier tracks, leaving a lingering emotional impact.
BLACKPINK’s 3rd mini-album ‘Deadline‘ is now available on all major global streaming platforms.
