BLACKPINK is officially painting the town—and history—pink!
In a groundbreaking move for the K-pop industry, the global superstars have teamed up with the National Museum of Korea and Spotify to celebrate the release of their highly anticipated third mini-album, DEADLINE.

Running from February 26 to March 8, this event marks a historic milestone as BLACKPINK becomes the first K-pop artist to launch an official large-scale collaboration with the national institution. Fans visiting the venue will witness the museum’s exterior illuminated in signature pink lighting, creating a stunning visual metaphor that bridges modern pop culture with traditional heritage.

The immersive experience continues inside, where the interior is adorned with pink lighting and DEADLINE project logos. But the true highlight for BLINKs is the educational twist: the members themselves are serving as audio docents. Visitors can listen to the group members guide them through eight representative historical artifacts, offering a unique blend of fandom and cultural appreciation.

Additionally, a special listening session is being held at the majestic Gwanggaeto Stele, located along the museum’s "Path of History" in the main lobby. While exclusive pre-release sessions for Spotify Premium users have already sold out, the general public can access the listening experience starting February 27 at 2 PM, coinciding with the album’s official release.

This fusion of top-tier K-pop and deep cultural heritage not only amplifies the excitement for the comeback but also invites a global audience to appreciate Korean history through a fresh, pink-tinted lens.
