Fantagio has stepped forward with a comprehensive statement addressing the recent tax evasion allegations surrounding actor Kim Seon Ho.
On February 4th KST, the agency clarified the situation regarding the actor’s one-person corporation, which has been the center of controversy involving family executives and personal use of corporate funds. Fantagio explained, “Kim Seon Ho established a corporation in January 2024 for acting activities and theater production… operations were halted, and for more than the past year, virtually no activities have taken place.”

Acknowledging the “uninformed management” of the entity, the agency revealed that Kim Seon Ho has taken immediate remedial action to correct the issue. “He returned all past corporate card usage, family salaries, and the corporate vehicle,” Fantagio stated. Furthermore, to resolve the tax implications, “he has additionally paid personal income tax on top of the corporate tax already paid.” The corporation is currently in the process of being closed.

The actor expressed his regret through the agency, stating he “deeply reflects on having established and maintained the corporation without sufficient understanding,” and offered a sincere apology for the oversight.

Fantagio also emphasized the clear separation between this private entity and the actor’s current exclusive contract, which began in February 2025. “We clearly state that there is no connection between the corporation and the contract or activities between Fantagio and Kim Seon Ho,” the agency affirmed.

Despite the financial noise, Kim Seon Ho remains booked and busy. He is confirmed to move forward with his scheduled projects, including Delusion, Unfriend, and The Congressman Is Watching.
