BTS’s Jungkook is now the first K-pop soloist to surpass 10 billion streams on Spotify

BTS’s Jungkook has reached a remarkable new milestone.

He is now the first K-pop soloist to surpass 10 billion streams on Spotify across all his tracks, achieving this feat on November 25.

His first solo album, GOLDEN (Nov 2023), has already amassed over 6.4 billion streams, with every track surpassing 100 million streams individually a testament to his global popularity.

Jungkook continues to break Spotify records for K-pop solo artists. His single “Seven (feat. Latto)” topped Spotify’s Top Songs Global chart, becoming the first K-pop soloist to do so, with nearly 16 million streams on its first day. The track later ranked 3rd on Spotify’s Most Streamed Songs of Summer 2023 and now holds over 2.6 billion cumulative streams, a record for a Korean artist.

Additionally, “Seven” has spent 123 weeks on the Weekly Top Songs Global chart, marking the longest run for any Asian solo artist. It currently sits at nearly 2.7 billion streams on Spotify.

With this latest achievement, Jungkook continues to cement his global presence and redefine K-pop solo success.
