On July 10 around 2 PM KST, the Seoul Central District Court’s 26th Criminal Division sentenced former NCT member Taeil (31) and two accomplices to 3 years and 6 months in prison for aggravated sexual assault.
The court also ordered all three to complete 40 hours of sexual violence education and mandated their registration as sex offenders in their local communities.
Additionally, the trio is barred from working in fields involving children and adolescents. The charges stem from a case in June last year, when the defendants admitted to raping an intoxicated Chinese woman. Following the verdict, the court issued arrest warrants, citing concerns that the defendants may attempt to flee.
