TWICE has officially etched their names into K-pop history once again! The phenomenal girl group set a monumental new attendance record for K-pop girl groups in North America. They drew a staggering 550,000 fans during the North American leg of their highly acclaimed “THIS IS FOR” world tour.
A Historic North American Run
Running from January until its conclusion on April 18, the North American leg was a massive commercial success. The girls delivered 35 unforgettable performances across 20 different cities.
This massive turnout officially sets the all-time attendance record for any K-pop girl group touring the region. It firmly cements TWICE’s status as undeniable global music icons.
Breathtaking Stages and Setlists
Fans were treated to an immersive concert experience thanks to a spectacular 360-degree open stage design. This innovative setup allowed TWICE to connect closely with ONCE from every angle of the arena.
The setlist was equally thrilling, featuring incredible live renditions of fan-favorite tracks. Highlights included special performances of “Strategy” and “Takedown” from the “K-pop Demon Hunters” OST.
Making History at Japan National Stadium
The record-breaking momentum doesn’t stop in North America. TWICE is now heading to Japan to celebrate the 9th anniversary of their official debut in the country.
From April 25 to 28, the group will hold three massive solo concerts at the prestigious Japan National Stadium. With a capacity of approximately 80,000 per show, TWICE will become the very first overseas artist to headline this iconic venue.
