Public outrage is growing after the man who broke into actress Nana’s home claimed he “didn’t know it was a celebrity’s house” during police questioning. Anger intensified when it was revealed that Nana’s mother lost consciousness from severe injuries sustained during the struggle.

The incident occurred around 6 a.m. on November 15 in Nana’s luxury villa in Acheon-dong, Guri City, valued at roughly 4.2 billion KRW (~$2.9M). The 30-something suspect, identified as A, entered through an unlocked door, threatened the residents with a weapon, and demanded money.

A physical struggle ensued, leaving Nana’s mother seriously injured and unconscious, while Nana was also hurt while subduing him. Despite the danger, the two managed to overpower him and hand him to police.

Public anger surged further after A explained he broke in simply because he was “short on living expenses.”

It’s now confirmed that Hanni was the NewJeans member who missed the November 11 meeting with ADOR’s CEO during their contract dispute.

Reports say she was overseas at the time and had notified the agency in advance, which is why ADOR referred to her as the mysterious “member in Antarctica.” She will have an individual meeting once she returns to Korea.

Earlier, Haerin and Hyein confirmed their return to ADOR, followed by statements from Minji, Hanni, and Danielle through their legal reps. ADOR says they’re still finalizing each member’s intentions and scheduling separate meetings.

This update comes after months of contract conflict, which ended with the court ruling in ADOR’s favor.
