BTS’s Jungkook has made a surprise comeback to Instagram, nearly two years after deleting his previous account with over 50 million followers.

On July 15, he launched a new account under the username @mnijungkook, which quickly gained traction—surpassing 1.2 million followers by 4:30 p.m. KST. During a Weverse live stream with fellow BTS members, Jungkook confirmed the account’s authenticity, joking, “My name is Jungkook.”

In February 2023, he had deleted his original Instagram, explaining it was simply because he no longer used the platform: “I probably won’t be back,” he said at the time. His unexpected return has thrilled fans worldwide, who have welcomed him back with excitement and support.
